Do we really follow the 22 vows or we just talk about first 3 vows. I have hardly seen people following all the 22 vows. It does say I’ll not lie, I’ll believe in equality, I will refrain my self from alcohol or drugs. Are Buddhist really following it.
    I doubt 😦
Then why do we only stress on saying we will not believe in god. What about the other vows.

No one can be 100% sure that they don’t lie. If you lie, it means you are not following the vows.
If you consume alcohol, it means you are not following the vows.
If you chew tobacco or take drugs, it means you are not following the vows.
One Buddhist ask other Buddhist person, how can you worship god? Dr. Ambedkar never thought us this its not in our 22 Vows.

Can someone tell me one thing, he never thought us to lie, to take alcohol to abuse anyone but we do it right. Infact many does it.

So are we really following the 22 vows or are we just saying, if you are a Buddhist you are not suppose to worship god.

What about the other Vows then…..

Sir, please rectify the translation of 22 prestigious pledges given by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on the Dhammapravartan day which we get to read in Marathi.

Sir Dr Babasahab mentioned the very first pledge as ” I shall not consider Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh as God, nor shall I worship them.”

    However, it has been translated as ” मी ब्रह्मा, विष्णू, महेश यांना देव माननार नाही किंवा त्यांची उपासना करणार नाही. ” which is a very big contrast in the meaning by using ‘किंवा’ word. I think this word should be replaced by another appropriate word like आणि, ना ।

I might be wrong but if I am not wrong, the necessary step must be taken as soon as possible to give it more meaningful touch.
